    Product Introduction
The DRF-600-type hand-held spectral analyzer combines miniature Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) technology and high-frequency surface-scanning Raman technology. The two technologies are integrated with complementary advantages, and can quickly identify unknown chemical components, including toxic and harmful chemicals, explosives, inflammable and explosive substances, drugs and precursor chemicals for drugs, etc. The high-frequency surface-scanning Raman technology can improve the ability to identify the proportion of mixtures through rapid scanning detection by digital micromirror devices, and at the same time avoid the safety risks brought by high-energy lasers, and can be used for the detection of substances such as dark-colored energetic materials. The miniature FTIR technology can quickly analyze the components of unknown solids and liquids through the ATR probe without being affected by fluorescence interference. The combination of the two technologies, on the one hand, expands the types of detected substances, and on the other hand, verifies each other, and the results are accurate without false alarms.
    Features
    • The world's first hand-held substance composition analyzer integrating high-frequency surface-scanning Raman and miniature FTIR technologies
    • The combination of high-frequency surface-scanning Raman and FTIR technologies — analysis results are mutually verified and supplemented, improving credibility
    • A more comprehensive database covering 22,000 substances
    • Small in size and light in weight. Protection level IP67, meeting GJB1751. The high-frequency surface-scanning technology supports field deployment in demanding environments.

    Frequently Asked Questions
Q What makes the DRF-600 unique compared to conventional handheld analyzers?
The DRF-600 is the world's first handheld analyzer to integrate both high-frequency surface-scanning Raman and miniature FTIR technologies in a single device. The dual-technology approach allows results to be mutually verified, greatly reducing false alarms and improving identification accuracy.
Q Can the DRF-600 identify dark-colored or black energetic materials?
Yes. The high-frequency surface-scanning Raman technology using digital micromirror devices enables detection of dark-colored energetic materials including black powder, potassium permanganate, and red phosphorus — substances that are typically problematic for conventional Raman analyzers due to laser safety concerns.
Q How large is the DRF-600's substance database?
The DRF-600 features a comprehensive database of over 22,000 substances — more than 11,000 entries in the FTIR library and more than 11,000 in the Raman library — covering explosives, toxic chemicals, drugs, precursor chemicals for drugs, and inflammable or explosive substances.
Q How quickly can the DRF-600 return identification results?
Detection is extremely fast: FTIR analysis completes in 10 seconds or less, and Raman analysis completes in 3 seconds or less. This rapid response makes the DRF-600 well-suited for time-critical field scenarios.
Q Is the DRF-600 ruggedized for outdoor and military use?
Yes. The DRF-600 carries an IP67 protection rating for dust and water ingress resistance and meets GJB1751 military standards. It operates across a wide temperature range of -20 °C to +50 °C, making it reliable in harsh outdoor environments.
Q Which industries and sectors commonly use the DRF-600?
The DRF-600 is widely deployed by military units, law enforcement, border control and customs agencies, airports, health organizations, emergency response departments, and food and pharmaceutical industries for rapid onsite identification of unknown liquids, solids, and powders.
