    Product Introduction

One-dimensional deformation radar is a product based on high-resolution radar remote sensing imaging and phase interferometry measurement technology, using electromagnetic waves as the medium to conduct real-time, dynamic, and non-contact measurements of small deformation variables in targets such as bridges, high-rise buildings, towers, and tunnels.

The radar system consists of a deformation radar host, a display control terminal, a support component, and a power supply component. The display control terminal connects to the deformation radar host via a wireless network, and one display control terminal controls one deformation radar host to achieve one-dimensional deformation measurement of the target.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Q
What is a one-dimensional deformation radar and how does it work?
A one-dimensional deformation radar is a non-contact measurement device based on high-resolution radar remote sensing imaging and phase interferometry technology. It uses electromagnetic waves to detect and measure small deformation variables in structures such as bridges, high-rise buildings, towers, and tunnels in real time without physical contact with the target.
    Q
What is the measurement accuracy and detection range of the deformation radar?
The deformation radar achieves a measurement accuracy better than 0.1mm with a data update rate reaching the millisecond level (≥200Hz). The maximum detection range is ≥500m, and the accuracy of deflection and frequency measurement remains consistent regardless of the distance to the target.
    Q
Can the radar system operate in harsh weather conditions?
Yes. The deformation radar features excellent environmental adaptability and is not affected by adverse weather conditions including rain, snow, or fog, nor is it impacted by day-night lighting variations. It supports 24/7 continuous operation and carries an IP66 protection rating, making it well-suited for long-term field monitoring deployments.
    Q
Does the system require installation of sensors or targets on the monitored structure?
In most cases, no. The radar system typically does not require any targets or sensors to be installed on the measured structure. This non-contact approach significantly reduces installation and deployment time, lowers overall usage costs, and makes the system quick and convenient to put into operation.
    Q
How many monitoring points can the radar measure simultaneously?
The system supports simultaneous monitoring of ≥30 points or cable spans in a single measurement session. This allows for comprehensive multi-point or multi-span bridge monitoring in one operation, improving measurement efficiency and ensuring strong data correlation across all monitored locations.
    Q
What are the size, weight, and power specifications of the deformation radar host?
The deformation radar host is compact (A4 paper format) and lightweight, weighing no more than 1kg (actual weight approximately 750g). Its power consumption is extremely low at ≤5W (approximately 6W in operation), and it features IP66 ingress protection. These characteristics make it highly portable and ideal for long-term field monitoring applications.
